~ A TRUCE OF CAROLS ~

Michael Taylor has been composing and arranging music for more than twenty years.  A Truce of Carols is his first opera.  He has also composed art songs for piano and voice, liturgical pieces including a Seven Last Words, several musicals and hundreds of arrangements for choir and orchestra.  Having conducted and stage directed over fifty, fully staged operas and operettas, he is also an active classical vocalist having sung leading roles with opera companies and symphonies all around the bay area.  Michael received his MM of music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music and his BM from San Francisco State University.  He is currently the music director for Trinity Episcopal church in Menlo Park and served as Music Director for Mission City Opera in Santa Clara for seven years.
